Mert Can Uçar, Berk Çoban, Arda Doruk Acar, and Mehmet Sadık Yılmaz, graduates of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), have developed a special application to encourage students to study. 

Prof. Dr. Aydın Akan, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) and one of the few Turkish academics selected for the list of the “World’s Most Influential Scientists”, has added a new milestone to his international achievements. 

Prof. Dr. Celalettin Kozanoğlu and Prof. Dr. Murat Aşkar from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) have developed a ‘fire tower’ project designed to extinguish forest fires as quickly as possible. 

Students of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) took action in response to the increase in natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and fires in our country and developed two projects that will contribute greatly to search and rescue operations.

4 professors from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) were included in the 'World's Most Influential Scientists List' announced by a special research team led by Dr. John Ioannidis from Stanford University in the United States (USA). 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Oğuz Ekim, Lecturer at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), was awarded a 75 thousand Euro grant from the European Union for her autonomous transport robot developed for use in the supply centers, warehouses or factories of large companies. 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Oğuz Ekim, Faculty Member, Izmir University of Economics (IUE) came second in Turkey in the innovation and technology competition called Başakşehir Living Lab with the ‘autonomous transport robots’ she developed with her 3 students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Oğuz Ekim, faculty member at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), has been shown among the top 5 successful female entrepreneurs in Turkey with the technology company named 'Advoard Robotics', which she founded with her 3 students.
